Poplar plywood prime consists of several thin layers of poplar bonded crosswise. This construction makes the board stable and sturdy while keeping it lightweight. That makes it pleasant to work with, especially when cutting, milling and assembling. The name prime refers to the white primer coat that has already been applied to the board, so you don't need to prime the material first. After a light sanding you can start on the top coat straight away. Poplar plywood prime is widely used in interior projects such as furniture, cabinets, reception desks and wall panelling.
